Chili's Tripple Dipper Review & 20.00 Gift Card Giveaway | Emily Reviews

For years I’ve watched chili’s commercials feature gorgeous looking food. Yet, until yesterday I had never stepped foot into a Chili’s restaurant – I’m not sure why. However, I wish I would have tried them out sooner! I love chicken and always order something chicken-related at restaurants, so I was delighted to find that Chili’s has a ton of chicken meals on their menu. Ryan on the other hand, always orders something different at restaurants. However, he’s a huge fan of nachos, mozzarella sticks and cheese fries, so he almost always orders appetizers instead of a meal. I had heard that Chili’s has the 2 for 20.00 deal, where you can get 1 appetizer and two entrees for 20.00, but I was curious to check out the ‘regular prices’. We ordered a triple dipper, which is where you can combine 3 appetizers onto one plate for about 10.00, which was great for Ryan who is an appetizer lover. Not all of chili’s appetizers are available to be included in the triple dipper, but you can choose between Loaded potato skins, memphis BBQ skins, honey-chipotle shrimp, big mouth bites, boneless buffalo wings, southwestern eggrolls, chicken crispers, wings over buffalo, fried cheese or hot spinach and artichoke dip. Ryan went with potato skins, big mouth bites and fried cheese. The portions for the triple dipper are smaller than they would be if you ordered them separately, but the portions were very generous and Ryan brought a box of food home, which is rare for him. Right now, if you join the Chili’s email list you get emailed a coupon for a free Chips and Queso, which I signed up for and printed. I was so glad I did! I typically wouldn’t try out something like Chips and Queso, but I loved it. We got a TON of chips that were light and crispy, which I loved. The chips and Queso were delivered to us first and I took a picture, then my camera battery died. Bad blogger, reviewing a restaurant with nearly dead batteries in my camera. I know. Sorry guys. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that came with french fries. I ate part of the appetizer and fries and was so full that I packaged my entire sandwich in a box to eat later. I almost always ask for a box for the remaining part of my meal at a restaurant, but never an entire sandwich. The portions were very generous to say the least. Ryan and I both had soda, and had one refill on or pop. So in all, we had Ryan’s triple dipper, my grilled chicken, two cokes and the chip and queso appetizer, and our bill was just under 23.00. Plus, we had two boxes of food that we brought home. I was really impressed with the cost and the food was great. We both decided that we’ll be visiting chili’s more often!
