I have an announcement! As of yesterday, I am officially a hedgehog mama. 
Hehe. I’m sure many of you have other announcements to make this time of year. A summer wedding coming up? A graduation? Or maybe a new baby? There are so many options out there for announcement cards, how do you decide where to begin? I personally love anything pesonalized or customized, so a great photo product company, such as Shutterfly is a great place to begin. Shutterfly has over 250 baby girl birth announcements! That’s just baby GIRL birth announcements. Wow! Of course, birth announcements will be treasured much longer if they have a picture of your new bundle of joy on them. Photo books are a great way of preserving memories, and make great gifts for just about any, for just about any occasion. Last year I made my mom a photo book for mothers day and it was really well received. I think photo books are a newer, easier to store form of photo albums. I personally find photo albums to be too big and bulky, and the sleeves often rip or tear. At some point I’d love to convert all of my photos over to photo books. aww how exciting :). I have a close friend who is due in october so i’m going to try to feature some baby review/giveaways between now and then. She isn’t finding out the gender which makes it a bit tricky. I’m sure it’d be super exciting to find out the day of the birth, but i don’t think i’ll have the patience to wait myself. lol.
The hedgehog is darling. I managed to talk my daughter out of one years ago. I’ll have to check out Shutterfly. My daughter and her husband are expecting their first in June.
