We all know how important reading to young children is. However, sometimes kids get tired of reading the same types of books all the time, so it’s good to have some tricks to re-interest them in reading. I recently came across stork gifts and was looking over their selection of gifts for boys, girls and babies. Stork gifts has personalized stools, personalized piggy banks, personalized pillow cases and more. All of their items are gorgeous and would make a really special gift to any child. However, when I came across their personalized books I knew that would be my review pick. Their personalized books allow you to fill in your child’s name, their hometown, names of a few of their friends and a dedication. You simply fill out the information and place your order. The books retail for 12.95 which is extremely reasonable for a personalized book. I chose the personalized scooby doo book for my nephew who is almost 5. He loves scooby doo so I knew this book would be great for him. Stork gifts has several other books to choose from such as batman, ninja, dinosaur, ballerina, beauty and the beast and others. When I first started reading this book to my nephew he thought I was changing the names instead of reading waht the book actually said. He’s in preschool and can recognize his own name so I showed him his name in teh book so then he believed me. He really enjoyed the book and I’m sure it will be treasured for years to come. This would be an even better gift for kids who can read on their own. Almost every name includes the child’s name. The pages have just a couple of sentences per page, which keeps the kids from getting bored. Overall it’s a really great, affordable gift that will be enjoyed for years.
