If you’re anything like me, you spend 10 minutes every morning waiting around for your flat iron to dry, so that you can straighten your hair while drying it out in the process. So every couple of months you cut another 1/2 inch off of your hair because the ends are dead. When your hair looks like mine does naturally, not straightening isn’t an option. Hairfree is an option though! Instead of waiting around for your flat iron to warm up, plug in your blow dryer instead and run a Hairfree also makes a round brush which is great for people who like to straighten their hair and add a flip at the end. The round brush sells for 15.95. If you purchase both brushes, you get a deal which is 18.95 for both. Both brushes have plates that surround the bristles. The brushes have a lever that moves, that causes the plates to lift. This process causes the hair that is caught in the brush to be pushed along the bristles and off the end. So instead of having to use another comb or your hands to clean the hair out a brush, you simply push the lever while holding the brush over a trash can. I love that feature because loose hair is gross and I hate touching it with my hands. Even without the straightening properties, the brushes are well worth what they cost, just to get out of cleaning brushes by hand!
Win it: Hairfree has offered to give both brushes to 1 reader here on my blog!

I learned that most blow dryers reach a top heat of about 175 degree while the heat generated from a flat/curling iron starts at about 200 degrees and can reach a top heat of upwards to 450 degrees

I learned hairfree brushes can be used as, a regular styling brush or a vent brush and according to the website to their knowledge they are the only brushes on the market that can be.
-

I learned how really bad that flat irons are for your hair. Maybe not being able to actually “see it”, but damaging it nonetheless.
