I’m such a t shirt girl. I love wearing comfortable clothes. I also love people and companies who care about the well being of others. Goodjoe makes cute, comfortable t shirts and they donate 1 dollar from every t shirt sale to a non profit organization. What’s even better, is the prices at goodjoe are affordable, even for poor college students like me. Most Goodjoe shirts range from 12-18 dollars a piece, and most of their t shirt designs have a message that relates to being eco-friendly, protecting animals or some other great message about doing the right thing. Goodjoe allows anyone and everyone to submit t shirt designs to them. The only guideline is the design has a funny, inspirational or positive message. Each week, the company selects one shirt as the design of the week and that design gets made into a t shirt. If you submit a design that is printed, you get $300.00, a 50.00 store credit plus 6% royalty for every shirt sold. I love this idea. There are so many great designers out there, I know graphic design students would love this opprotunity. I think it’s a great way to keep the t shirt designs new and exciting.

I had Ryan choose a shirt for this review, and he went with The Rhinosaurus. This shirt aims to say that we should save Rhinos, which are currently declining in number very rapidly. I love how this shirt, like so many other of the goodjoe shirts, has a message without being just words or real “in your face”. The designs are neat to look at and have lots of detail, and the message gets across at the same time. The quality of the shirt is great, it’s not that stuck on type shirt, the design is in the fabric itself. So no crackled image later on down the road. The sizing was spot on and it has washed and dried perfectly without seeming to shrink. Overall we love the shirt and the company and plan to keep them in mind for buying t shirts in the future.
