Every now and then I get to review a product that I just fall in love with. That’s definitely the case with Prissies. Prissies are knee high socks that are incredibly soft and warm. I have a bit of a confession, that being that I love pajamas. When I get home I am usually into pajamas within an hour. I live in Michigan where the summers are hot and humid, thanks to our being surrounded by lakes. I have a ton of boxer-like pj shorts that are great for in the summer, and great to wear in bed under the covers, but I get cold wearing just shorts around the house. So when I heard that prissies are warm and soft, I thought they would be great for wearing around the house, and they are! I fell in love the first time I put them on. Soft really isn’t a good enough word for them. They are warm, too! I’ve even worn them to bed several times without getting overheated. Ryan much prefers them to my big, baggy, shapeless pj pants too. Prissies are very practical yet very feminine and cute. I am “one of those people” who tend to be cold a lot. Michigan winters are bitter cold, so when I know that I am headed out for a long period of time I wear an undershirt, t shirt, sweater, and coat. However, for pants, it’s much more difficult to layer up. Typically I will wear one of my thicker pair of leggings under jeans, but that’s as much as I had been able to layer up in the past. One day when we were heading out into the cold for a while it occurred to me that my prissies would fit under my pants as an extra layer, and they worked great! I hate the cold so much that I’d buy a few pairs of prissies even if it were just to wear them when I had to be out for extended periods of time in the winter. So it’s really just a bonus that they are so comfortable to wear around the house and to bed. I love them!
