I love to sleep. I even consider it one of my hobbies :). Naturally, I also love pajamas, pillows, blankets, slippers, etc. I also love eco-friendly products. I recently got the chance to work with dream soft bedware and was so excited to receive a couple things from them for review.

I chose to review a Serenity Rejuvenation Organic Millet and Wool Pillow as well as their Dreamsacks bamboodreams night shirt

I was most excited about the nightgown. I had never worn bamboo before, but I had read from so many other bloggers about how amazing bamboo is. I also really like nightgowns because I just find them more comfortable than wearing pj shorts or pj pants with a shirt. When it arrived I instantly put it on and was thrilled. I sometimes order a size small or sometimes a medium, in shirts and dresses, etc. I thought with this being a nightgown it probably had a bit of give so I ordered a small. It fits great. It’s thin and super comfortable, which makes it great for summer time or for people who might overheat at night. It’s very stretchy too. It was given the Oeko-tex certification, meaning it’s tested for harmful dyes or fabrics, and found to be eco-friendly.

I also received the pillow which is half wool and half millet. When this pillow arrived I was really surprised at how heavy it was! I was so surprised that I weighed myself and then weighed myself holding this pillow to see how heavy it is – it weighed in at slightly over 5lbs! By far the heaviest pillow I’ve ever owned. The millet portion o fthis pillow is basically beans/beads, which I didn’t realize when ordering. The pillow is nice and thick, at 4.5 inches tall. I really like this pillow. To be honest, at first I thought it was sort of stiff and heavy. I didn’t think I’d care for the pillow much. However, after the first night I fell in love. The wool is enough to make the pillow seem relatively comfortable at first, but not better than any other pillow I’ve owned in the past. However, the best thing about this pillow is the millet (bead-like) portion. The beads cause the pillow to stay still, due to the weight of the pillow. I have seen a noticeable difference in my sleep since getting this pillow.

I tried explaining this to my boyfriend and he didn’t understand, but maybe some of you will. Occasionally I sleep so well, that when I wake up my entire body is stiff, and I truly feel like I haven’t moved a muscle all night long. Although it’s stiff and I often have lots of cracks when I first get up and moving after a night like that, I always feel SO rested! Well, I get that almost every night with this pillow. I really feel like I stay so still all night long, and I think it’s greatly thanks to the millet portion of this pillow.

Buy it: You can purchaes both of these items online at the dream soft bedware website.

Win it: One lucky person is going to get both items I reviewed! The bamboo nightgown will be in your choice of size and color, and will be shipped to you from the company. The pillow was sent to me, and I will be shipping it. As I mentioned, this pillow weighs over 5lbs. This means I’m going to be paying out a decent amount of money to ship this to the winner. For this reason only, I am requiring that the winner of this giveaway has subscribed to me by either rss or email. I am NOT going to start requiring this for all my giveaways, like many do. I generally “don’t believe” in this. However, I can’t afford to spend money to ship this to someone who doesn’t even follow my blog regularly. I hope everyone understands.

Mandatory entry: Follow me by either email or RSS, and leave a comment telling me which way you follow me. Also tell me 1 other item you’d love to own from dream soft bedware. Be sure to leave your email in your first comment, so I can contact you if you win!

This giveaway is open to the US and will end July 9th at noon EST. Winner will be chosen via random.org and will have 2 days to reply to my email and claim their prize before a new winner will be selected.

Disclaimer – I was sent a nightgown and pillow for the purposes of this review. No other form of compensation was offered or accepted. All opinions are my own.
